Alistair Tait is not just a speed coach. He is a Movement and Mindset Improvement Specialist with over 20 years developing athletes from grassroots junior programs to national competition. He draws on deep expertise across anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology and nutrition — built on one core belief: no two athletes are alike.
Alistair trained alongside and studied under two of Australia's most decorated coaches — Roy Boyd (Level 5 National Hurdles Coach of Australian 110mh record holder Kyle Vander Kuyp) and Phil King (coach of Seoul 1988 Olympic Gold Medallist Debbie Flintoff-King and World & Commonwealth Gold Medallist Jana Pittman).
As Global Athletic Development Coach for ARMS Physical Testing / Edge10 Group, he led a government talent identification program across 12 districts of Meghalaya, India — testing over 6,000 youth athletes against global benchmarks to identify future elite performers. The same rigour he brought to that program is what athletes get at Power2ADAPT every day.
Two decades of coaching, accredited at the highest international level, with athletes developed across the full pathway.
Great coaching is adaptive. It combines elite-level methodology with individual context. At Power2ADAPT, evidence-based frameworks, real performance data, and progressive programming are used to develop athletes at every stage of their journey — from first steps to national competition.
